Charise Mericle Harper, one of the authors who will be attending Bozeman’s Children’s Festival of the Book on Saturday, November 8, 2014, had her book Bean Dog and Nugget: The Ball nominated as a finalist for a Children’s Choice Award this year! Only a very small number of books are nominated as finalists for these prestigious awards. Check out this book and others written by Charise at the Bozeman Public Library. Her works include many well-known children’s books such as Bean Dog and Nugget: The Cookie, Just Grace, and Flush: The Scoop on Poop Throughout the Ages.
David Shannon’s book Bugs in My Hair! was the winner of a Children’s Choice Award this year. David was one of the authors who visited Bozeman for the Children’s Festival of the Book in 2011.
