Bringing successful authors and illustrators to the children of Bozeman!

??????????The eighth annual Children’s Festival of the Book will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2015. The Festival gives community members the opportunity to meet and interact with artists who have crafted published books for children and young adults. Well-known artists bring the Bozeman community a day of entertainment and enlightenment, and past visitors have included high-profile writers and illustrators such as Lois Lowry, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, Charise Mericle Harper, Henry Cole, Paul Zelinsky, and Maile Meloy. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from those who craft the books you read!

The Festival first emerged in 2008. Events at the Children’s Festival of the Book have included special presentations from authors and illustrators, crafts for kids, book signings, writing workshops, and more. Programs with full event lists for each year can be found on the historical pages of this site. Annual writing and illustration contests are also part of the Children’s Festival and the Book and are open to children and young adults ages 8 to 18. Check out the “Contests” page on this website to find out more!
